Vintage Russian enamel egg earrings, silver gilt Silver match striker Fully Hallmarked for sterling silverA beautiful pair of vintage Russian 'Easter' egg earrings. They are drop earrings in heavy silver gilt with cobalt blue enamelling and guilloche enamelled bow tops. The egg drops are set with tiny ruby paste cabochons with criss crossing of golden gilt, the eggs are suspended from the pretty bow tops which are further suspended from ear wire fittings. The earrings were marked on the tiny bale of one egg but this is very worn, likely 960 as they test
